The Thing With The Shoes - 3 + 4 in 2013

Only a few days ago I posted a blog with this numbers.

Yes.

But ... I took both pairs of heels back. Not because I didn't like them but I didn't stop asking myself to which occasion I might wear the one or the other pair. Just to put them in my shelf? That would be the studded ones due to being extraordinaire. 

But I like to take my shoes out.

Yesterday I told about another shopping adventure with my boyfriend.

This day I pulled him into Deichmann since I saw those black booties with the golden cap the other day. I couldn't stop thinking of them and heard them screaming my name all the way to where we live. 

Ok.

He didn't like them on the shelf but on my feet. Bought - I had for sure no matter what he thought (don't tell him!). And he found those light blue ones. Like them?

Jeans And Stripes

In a recap of the latest photos I realized I was wearing a lot of blue denim lately. 

Actually this is strange since I have never been that much of a jeans guy. 

Or to be precise: no blue jeans guy. More the blacks or colored.

Right now I seem to like blue jeans a lot. But there is a need to chance before I'll get bored. 

At least a little.

Right now I open my closet and everything in there just bothers me.

We are at the point where I have a closet full of nothing to wear.

Is it due to the end of season? I am looking forward for spring. I really can's see coats and boots and scarfs and gloves any more. I want hot pants and sandals and sunnies.

And I really need to go shopping somewhere which is not my home town.

Somewhere interesting. Copenhagen or London would be nice. New York is out of reach at the moment.

The Thing With The Shoes - 3 (+4?) in 2013

The Thing With The Shoes continues.

Let's see how far I'll get in 2013.

At the moment I go with 42 pairs plus Sneakers, Flip Flops and stuff. Not that much for a girl I assume.

Nevertheless my bf asked to get his shoes out of our shelf when he saw my purchase.

What I am thinking about right now:

I don't NEED both pairs. I like both pairs. But I case I only could keep one:

WHICH?

Those with the studs are quite extravagant but the other pair is pretty simple. And believe it or not, there are no simple black pumps in my collections. So to say: I'd "need" them more since you really have to have a pair of simple black pumps.

Oh what a wonderful day. I am smiling in circles in competition with the stars.

Dunno why, but I am just feeling good. 

Great job, great collegues - new ones and very old ones. Besides I got the best compliment from my ex  bossbossboss, who I met by accendent, anyone can get. 

Some bothering problems are cleared and I just feel freed.

Uuh, it's been a month - almost - since we took these photos. It was our first day of our holidays.

Busy with traveling and checking the "new" surroundings.

About the current situation over here:

Dunno if I told you I changed jobs last week. So after coming back home from Kos / Greece I was busy ending the one job and starting the other. The new job takes a lot more time than expected - which is good in the end. I don't know yet where it will take me and how working hours will interfere the time I spend on this blog.

Besides I think about taking up the job on "my baby" (called webzine) again, at least every now and then. And yeah, there is something called private life as well.

Good to be a workoholic, isn't it?

So yes, I AM FINE. Just don't know how regularely I will post here during the next weeks. Right now I am trying to keep it going more.

I am sorry for the shit quality of these photos. I was in total hurry but wanted to snap this look since I liked it pretty much in real.

I love the combination of the (fake) leather jacket with the transparent blouse I got on the fleamarket back in September. And the green / black suede heels fit perfectly - even the color of their sole suits the pants, don't you think?

Btw, this is the very last photo from my hallway looking like this.

I was to an Déesse cosmetics party the other day.

It was fun sitting with the girls trying new stuff.

Afterwards we got a nice present.

Jeez, I showed you this jeans already only a few days ago.

But you can recycle cloth, can't you? Means you can wear it twice or thrice before washing. For not looking the same all the time, just style them different - e.g. with a brand new pair of shoes.

Finally I found a little time to take my oh so comfy but sadly broke wedge sandals back to the store.

Yes, I am doing this stuff - taking cloth back when they break within two years. This is possible in Germany.

So I said Good Bye to my beloved sandals - note for SS 2013: new black sandals, as every year.

Why are those so hard to find? At least for me. I have 39 pairs of shoes. Ok, not that much but I am sorting out when broke or not in use in a long while. ;)

Every year the problem is: I am in urgent need of comfy black est. 10 cm sandals for an every day outfit. 

I really should have a collection, but I just don't find my "Mr Right" in this case - or I use them until they break.

So, back to this post:

I took a pair of shoes back. And what happend? I took two pairs of shoes home. 

The red ones were taken out at once and I got a lot of compliments about them already.

And sure I was asked again how much *she* would love to walk on heels but can't and how it goes and stuff.

It's just a question of training, isn't it? I don't know, I am used to it. No problem at all walking on this kind of shoes.

Btw. the red ones are 13 cm, the green ones 12 cm.

Which one do you like better?

Lately I was asked to post pictures of my wardrobe room.

I don't have a wardrobe room!

When you enter the door of my appartement you fall into my shoe shelf straight ahead.

I rearranged it the other day and this is the outcome.

I have been looking for a new book shelf for my living room since a while now but haven't found any fitting my style AND price limit. 

But the plan is like this: As soon as the new book shelf moved in with me, the white Billy, where I store my books at the moment, will become a shoe shelf. I am going to rearrange the hall way - where there is the clothes rail for our jackets at the moment will be both Billys and other way round. 

I am in need of more space since this solution simply looks like chaos and I can't stand it anymore.

And I am thinking of glass doors for both shelves.

What do you think?

How many pairs of shoes do you have?

And how do you store them?

Seems I am the type for Converse and black booties.
